My cousin Danielle is the source of all my music. I know she has her sources, but I like to pretend that she spends her nights scouring small venues for awesome new music. She recently showed me this website: http://www.blogotheque.net/spip.php?page=cae_all&lang=fr, which is totally cool and totally in French. Basically, this guy goes around to various shows and gets the artists to play "Encore" shows in strange places--like getting Arcade Fire to play in an elevator, or Cold War Kids in a warehouse (WHILE riding those flatbed box moving things). My absolute favorite, if you can find it in the non-alphabetical list, it Jason Mraz **doing 'Lovely Day' with a street musician in what appears to be France or Spain. LOVE IT.
Sidenote: The site layout was recently changed, and I don't speak French. So hopefully the good videos are still there somewhere. I think I've linked to the main part here....but again with the "No French" issue, so who knows!
**It's in the second column, next to #74 (which is in the first column.) No, his is not #75, that would make to much sense. It's unumbered, and the one on the other side is #73. Crazy French numbering system....

Good Website for Sundays
Okay, so since today is Sunday, I thought I'd start with a website I found through another friend's blog that is totally funny and totally true. It's called "Stuff Christians Like" (yeah, see the trend?) and it is pretty funny. I was reading at work the other day, and when I got to the entry on Christmas Service Candles, I just about lost it. It is kinda hard to stifle a snort in a small office. Nice. Anyway, I encourage you to read, because there is bound to be something there that you identify with from going to church either as a child or as an adult. It's great.

Trying this again....
Okay, I've had this "blog" for three years, and have not done much with it. I've finally figured out what to do with it. I am turning this into one of those random "Stuff ____ Like" types. I'll update with random observations, current artists/songs I'm listening to, new websites I like, new products I've tried, and so forth. Most likely no one even READS this but me, so it will just be a giant archive for me to remember cool sites or stuff. So if you randomly stumbled into this, cool. Check back occasionally and see what I've found. Maybe you'll discover something cool too!
